Ignition-interlock requirements come with deadlines, service appointments, and rules that may be unfamiliar the first time through. Vibrance Automotive provides local installation and ongoing service while helping clients understand how to use the device and what their appointment schedule requires.
What to expect
During installation, the device is connected to the vehicle’s starting system and positioned for practical use. We explain the initial test, rolling retests, common device messages, and the service schedule before you leave. Follow the instructions issued for your specific program and device; requirements are not identical in every case.
Installation, service, and removal
- Ignition-interlock installation
- Scheduled calibration and service visits
- Help understanding device messages and basic operation
- Inspection of installation-related wiring concerns
- Authorized removal when the applicable requirements have been satisfied
Do not disconnect, bypass, or attempt to repair the device yourself. If it reports an error or the vehicle has a starting problem, call before making changes so the event can be handled and documented correctly.
Arizona requirements
The Motor Vehicle Division or another supervising authority determines whether an interlock is required and how long it must remain installed. The shop does not set or shorten that term. Official Arizona information is available through the Arizona MVD ignition-interlock FAQ.
Bring the documents provided by the referring agency or interlock provider, your identification, and the vehicle that will receive the device. If you are unsure what is required, call us before the appointment.
Pricing and appointment timing
Installation, recurring service, missed appointments, lockouts, removal, and optional coverage may have separate charges. We will explain the charges that apply to your service before you proceed. Appointment availability varies, so contact us if you are working against a deadline rather than assuming same-day service is available.
Questions before installation?
We can answer questions about the shop visit, device use, and service scheduling. Legal advice and decisions about compliance status must come from the appropriate authority or your attorney.
